It’s the 1st of December and the countdown now begins to CHRISTMAS! (not excited at all…)
As you can see the decorations are up in Nottingham and we have our own winter wonderland in the square, full of dreamy hot chocolates, sweets, cakes, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and so much more! A sweet tooth’s paradise!
Our winter wonderland also has an ice-skating rink where you can skate with family and friends around the grand Christmas tree lite up with green and red lights.
You can sip a mulled wine on the perimeters of the rink if that’s not for you and watch (or laugh) at your friends attempting to ice-skate – not that we do that! This year they have also added an ice bar, but we were unable to go as you have to make a booking. It boasts ice walls, ice sculptures, and ice cups that you drink from!
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, it’s full of fun, laughter, love and food. The excitement all the way up to the day is the best, and going to the Christmas market is a perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit! Myself and Cole are doing a Christmas market crawl it seems this year, with having one right on our doorstep in Nottingham, Birmingham this weekend and Winter Wonderland in London later in December. So stay tuned to see some more Christmas markets and posts.
Until next time
India and Cole!
