The Wishlist Guide: Paris

Paris has long been a place I have wanted to visit and still almost 21 years into my life I still haven’t been! I see so many pretty images of the Eiffel Tower with rows of pink blossoms trees underneath, where I wish to sit eating a freshly made croissant. This is my dream!

So I thought this week I would create a mini-guide to what I would love to do when I am there (fingers crossed soon)! So this is a wishlist and I mean it is not really appropriate for a student budget, minus a few things! I wish I did not have such expensive taste but Paris just do the most amazing places but for, literally my whole student budget for a night!!

  1. I am headed to Paris at the end of this month (blossoms and all!), and thank you for pointing out Palais Royal Gardens! Have added this to my itinerary. Would have liked to stay in one of the properties you recommend, but, perhaps, another time! And I should definitely check out Angelina that everyone is buzzing about! Probably same as in New York – reservations for a month ahead 🙂

  2. Thank you for sharing. I will spend a weekend in Paris end of June :-). So impatient !!!
Paris’ grandeur is inspiring but what I love most about the city is its intimacy. Its quarters are like a patchwork of villages with local shops, markets and cafes… I love Paris !!

  3. That’s a beautiful list! I’m a Parisian and I’ve stopped picnic-ing or aperitiv-ing (:D) under the Eiffel Tower because we used to be often annoyed/harassed by guys… I would swap that to enjoy “l’apéritif” with a nice bottle of wine by the river ! I haven’t eaten at Le Meurice but I highly recommend you the bar 228 in the hotel ; it’s beautiful and the service is top-notch! (I go for big occasions and like to sit at the counter).
