I entered a bloggers paradise here at Peggy Porschen Cakes! And there was even a blogger perched on the steps under the beautiful doorway with her professional photographer snapping away.
This explosion of pink against the dark London road is an instant uplift especially on the wet cloudy day like ours! You can always rely on the English weather not to let you down ha ha.
Me and Jess have both said we wanted to visit this cake shop ever since seeing it being posted all over Instagram. It did not disappoint either but our purses were definitely lighter once we left.
We quickly joined the queue outside whilst we watched people sip their hot chocolates and took photographs for Instagram of all their treats! What a world we live in now.
We were seated inside where there was Christmas trees with baubles and biscuits hanging, fake snow on the window seals and even Christmas houses sat on the shelves!
They sat us right opposite the cake cabinet and we were stuck for about 20 minutes picking what we wanted to eat and not wanting to make the wrong choice! In the end we decided to share a slice of layered cake. Raspberry, lemon and rose and yes it was as good as it sounded!
As well as this I had a cappuccino with a chocolate dusted snowflake and Jess had a fruit tea and without even noticing she had ordered the only pink tea! Pink everywhere! My coat, Jess’s tea, our cake and the whole entire shop!
We also wanted to buy one of their Christmas iced cookies as a token that we had visited the infamous Peggy Porschen Cake shop but we were slightly put off by the price tag so memories will have to suffice!
I would recommend for all the bloggers, pink lovers and those with a sweet tooth and I am so glad I’ve ticked this off my little list of places to visit.
Until next time,
