This weekend, I hopped on the train up to Mansfield to visit Cole, as this is where he is currently doing his work placement for University. As I didn’t get in till late, Friday evening consisted of eating pizza and watching the Rio Olympics opening ceremony!
It is currently summer break for students around the UK and therefore I am at home in Hertfordshire, and Cole has started his work placement in Nottingham. I am lucky enough to live only 20 minutes on the train into London, and Cole only 1 hour and a half. We, therefore, decided to have a day out in London in order to see one another and see some of the sights in London! We are so lucky to have such an amazing city nearby and often take this for granted, but on Saturday we did as much as we could in the time we had.
This year my birthday was annoyingly right in the middle of my exam period at university! So me and Cole decided that rather than going out, we were going to head to the Peak District, go on a hike and have a picnic when we’ve reached the top.
For Easter, while both enjoying our break from university (and celebrating our anniversary), I and Cole decided to pack our bags and head off on a quick city break to Edinburgh!
Welcome to Stories of Adventure
Myself (India) and Cole have started a joint venture of our travel blog so we can document and share our experiences of our times travelling around the world, one venture at a time. We both have experience in travelling with Cole last year cycling around Majorca and myself inter-railing around Europe, so therefore with both of us having a lust for travel we wanted to start seeing the world together. So in 2016 our journey has begun!
