Thursday morning I was up bright eyed and bushy tailed standing on the platform at Paddington station ready to undertake my journey to Newquay, Cornwall. I had been to Cornwall previously and it is just one of the most beautiful parts of England and I urge everyone to go and visit at some point! You just would not believe you are even in England with the white sand beaches and turquoise sea!
Thank you so so much to April from the Travelling Wanderer for nominating us to take part in the Liebster awards! I am very honored that you have chosen us to be one of your nominations it means a lot!
If you are thinking what an earth is a Liebster award?! I am about to let you know! The award is an online award and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. It is to help promote and connect fellow bloggers and generally help and support those out there doing the same as us and hopefully, show our readers who inspire and interest us so you can enjoy them too!
So, myself and my mum had the 10th August free for a long time and we knew that we would spend the day in London but doing what we was not sure? We had many plans from visiting Alexander Palace or Hampton Court Palace, but both being booked up we decided what about a musical? Looking online a few weeks before, it was hard to find two tickets that were not incredibly expensive, until we saw Mamma Mia! My mum had seen it before but she said she saw it in 2000 so 17 years ago!! And I had never seen it so we both thought yes lets go! I had watched the film at the weekend and I was singing a long and getting super excited. If you have not seen it I would 100% recommend both the film and the musical if you have the chance!!
Waking up at 4 am with my eyes half shut to get ready was a challenge, but was made easier by the thought that TODAY WE WAS GOING ON HOLIDAY! I think the most exciting part of going away is getting up at an ungodly hour to head to the airport! I hate it when you have to wait around all day, so I was more than happy to jump in our taxi at 5 am to leave for Stanstead airport!
We woke up in our big comfy bed excited to see Paris and for me especially the Eiffel Tower!! We were up, ready and out by 10-am heading towards the Louvre Museum as we wanted to head to the river. Our hotel was roughly a 20 minute walk and took us through some little streets that we would not have seen otherwise.
19th June I woke up to a wrinkly old man… No not really just Cole who today had turnt the big 22! So as a little surprise for his birthday I thought to myself why not plan a little trip for us both rather than being stuck where I live where there are limited options of what to do I planned a trip to Paris!!
Following our previous blog we wanted to share with you all our other photos!
