I thought I would share with you a bunch of my favorite photographs from 2017! I tell you what it has been a year and a half but I do not want to let any spoilers slip as I have a look back on 2017 later, full of the exciting time, the hard times and what I want in the future. So my little Christmas readers you will have to wait!
It only felt like yesterday that I posted my final 12th day of blogmas last year and we are here again on the 1st December?! Where has this year gone? But we are finally back to my favorite time of year and I am feeling incredibly festive! From listening to Christmas song in October, watching at least 4 Christmas films, purchasing Christmas pudding slippers (I know amazing – Primark!), Christmas PJs and having one of the best advent calenders winking at me for the past month!!
I and Cole were both lucky enough to be invited to the Gin Festival in Nottingham! The festival was founded in 2013 by a couple from Leeds, and now it is a non-stop tour around the UK and one of the biggest gin festivals! And I can see why! It was so much fun with over 100 gins to try, cocktails to taste, masterclasses to watch and music to dance too! Being an avid gin lover myself this festival was right up my street and made such a nice different to my cheap gin from Tesco (being a student I have to, unfortunately, budget on my alcohol choice!). So being able to taste all these delightful gins in so many different flavors was so so delish!
PRE-WARN: This post may make your belly rumble!
Easter now is quickly approaching and that means so is the end of the second term and that means my time at university is almost over for good!! That is the scariest but exciting thought ever! So as time is coming to an end my mum decided to arrange a trip up to come and visit.
It’s the 1st of December and the countdown now begins to CHRISTMAS! (not excited at all…)
Summer has come to an end and winter is settling in, holidays are over and we are back to being university students. While the weekdays are spent in lectures or in the library, we headed out for a fun day on Sunday (to reduce our chances of going loopy… or becoming less loopy…)
This weekend, I hopped on the train up to Mansfield to visit Cole, as this is where he is currently doing his work placement for University. As I didn’t get in till late, Friday evening consisted of eating pizza and watching the Rio Olympics opening ceremony!
