I thought I would share with you a bunch of my favorite photographs from 2017! I tell you what it has been a year and a half but I do not want to let any spoilers slip as I have a look back on 2017 later, full of the exciting time, the hard times and what I want in the future. So my little Christmas readers you will have to wait!
If you have not seen my previous blog posts or my vlogs online you will not know I love love love a Christmas market!! They are the ultimate festive day and I am all for the festive feels. So I thought why not put together a list of the top 10 Christmas markets that I have either been too or are on my Christmas market bucket list!
Here it goes!
I have been to Cornwall a number of times but never before had I visited or even heard of Porthleven. I can’t believe I never had because it was so beautiful.
Porthleven is England’s most southerly port and is literally brimming with history. This quaint little port is so picturesque, with white cottages contrasting again the bright blue sea, and filled with shops and restaurants.
So, myself and my mum had the 10th August free for a long time and we knew that we would spend the day in London but doing what we was not sure? We had many plans from visiting Alexander Palace or Hampton Court Palace, but both being booked up we decided what about a musical? Looking online a few weeks before, it was hard to find two tickets that were not incredibly expensive, until we saw Mamma Mia! My mum had seen it before but she said she saw it in 2000 so 17 years ago!! And I had never seen it so we both thought yes lets go! I had watched the film at the weekend and I was singing a long and getting super excited. If you have not seen it I would 100% recommend both the film and the musical if you have the chance!!
Waking up at 4 am with my eyes half shut to get ready was a challenge, but was made easier by the thought that TODAY WE WAS GOING ON HOLIDAY! I think the most exciting part of going away is getting up at an ungodly hour to head to the airport! I hate it when you have to wait around all day, so I was more than happy to jump in our taxi at 5 am to leave for Stanstead airport!
Once again we woke up in our beautiful hotel in Paris and were both happy and sad that we were still in this wonderful city, but in the evening we were returning home after such a lovely few days. We were packed, up, and ready to have the early afternoon exploring more of the city. Our main idea for our last day was to go into both the Louvre Museum and Musee d’Orsay.
Now due to the day being so busy, I do not joke that there are only a small small select few of photos in our previous post so here are the others!! Enjoy.
